The beetroot tikki which had a crisp outer covering was mildly flavoured and turned out be a winner among the other starters. The moist fish tikka was well marinated and went well with the green chutney and the dahi ke kebabs had a crisp layer of broken papad which gave the velvety kebabs a good crunch. The mince mutton kebabs, which were filled with a bit of hung curd to balance out the spices in the kebabs, were nice too.

You can accompany your meal with a glass of sherbet, a drink made from all natural ingredients, the syrup of which is directly sourced from Rajasthan.

The Subz Panchratni is a beautiful dish which is made of 5 vegetables and could be had alone as a warm salad. The Patiyala chicken curry, which had a very creamy and rich gravy is also worth a mention. Choose your favourite Indian bread along with a simple yellow dal tadka and you’ll be good to go.

The limelight was stolen by the fragrant vegetable Biryani. The perfectly cooked dum biryani was topped with crunchy fried onions and was served along with a soothing raita to balance out the dish.

End your meal with a trio of kheer or rice pudding which is mildly sweet and is topped with shavings of dry fruits or end it on a bold move with a pan kulfi which has an entire pan inside a regular kulfi.

So when hunger pangs for hearty Indian meal strike and you don’t wish to burn a hole in your pocket, you know what place you should visit.
