A brand that introduced the concept of DIY live grilling and all-you-can-eat concept in Delhi, Barbeque Nation needs no introduction and is the best place to go, to satiate those kebab and curry cravings.

Since it’s imperative to introduce something different to please the customers palates, BBQ nation keeps introducing new festivals from time to time, to add a few interesting items to their already existing plethora of dishes.

This time, they have introduced the Arabian Food Festival, which had started on 9th November and will go on till 30th November. You can devour some great Arabic delicacies during dinner time on weekdays and during lunch and dinner time on weekends.

Make sure you skip a meal before visiting BBQ Nation to do full justice to what the Wahrabia Festival has to offer. While the non-vegetarians are in for a treat with their delicious saffron infused jojeh kebabs, melt-in-mouth fried silver fish and the spice rich Arabian kafta lamb seekh, the vegetarians shouldn’t be disappointed as they have some spicy jalapeño seasoned mushrooms, mildly flavoured egyptian zuben paneer kebabs and the unusual afelia pasta(that comes on a skewer over the grill!). My personal favourite would be their live-counter, from where I devoured the flavoursome keema kaleji and tawa mutton.

I paired my starters with a refreshing mint citrus cooler and sweet pink laban, which had beautiful hues of pink mellowing down the glass.

With hardly any space after gorging onto some delicious starters, I braved to try a few main courses and I didn’t regret my decision at all. Though the dal makhni e bahar and murg korma tasted nice, I drooled over the rich gravy of the chicken Arabian and the fluffy and fragrant rice of the biryani.

The only downfall turned out to be the desserts, which as compared to everything didn’t turn out to be as good. While I enjoyed the warm gulab jamuns, dark chocolate miste roll, the baklawa and coconut khajoor barfi didn’t quite feel right. But then their kulfi bar came to rescue, that got my experience back on track. The kulfi falooda and pan kulfi are an absolute must have!

Confession: Overall, the swift service paired with good food and refreshing drinks made my experience worth a share. While the desserts didn’t quite do it for me, the kebabs totally nailed it.
