Easy to make, fulfilling and delicious, sandwiches are the perfect saviours for those unexpected hunger pangs. Fill up the bread with a few slices of cheese or stack up some fancy vegetables and meat, sandwich is one of the most versatile snacks, that we can binge on to, whenever we want.

Unlike Mumbai, Delhi does not have a lot of places which offer a variety of sandwiches. Hence, when I came across a small outlet named Sandwich Factory in Mayur Vihar, I decided to try it immediately and didn’t regret a bit.

Nestled in Phase 2 market, Mayur Vihar, Sandwich Factory is a cosy little cafe-style outlet, that is all set to satiate those hunger pangs, by offering a variety of sandwiches, wraps, pizzas along with a selection of beverages and sides, without burning a hole in your pocket.

Upon recommendation, I started with their special Creamy Bruschetta, that consisted of baked garlic bread, slithered generously with cheesy white sauce, topped with chopped onions, capsicum and herbs. I would definitely go back to Sandwich Factory for this, though the next time I go, I will order myself a double creamy bruschetta!

It was paired along with a glass of refreshing lemon iced tea, something that became an essential because of the summer heat. But if you’re more of a coffee person, then rejoice, because SF offers blue tokai coffees, both hot and cold, at a price for which you just wouldn’t be able to say no.

Slithered with multiple tangy and spicy sauces, and stuffed with onions, capsicum, tomatoes along with the chicken in focaccia bread, the olive oil based Italian panini was the next thing which I devoured, along with their fresh in-house ranch sauce. I was also impressed with their version of the Tex-Mex burrito, which was served like a wrap. The chicken strip inside was being complemented with the crunchy raw vegetables like bell peppers, lettuce, onions and mushrooms, that added a bit of health to the overall calorie laden meal that I enjoyed thoroughly.

Confession: Overall, my sojourn at Sandwich Factory ended, and I left with a happy tummy. The pricing of the dishes is perfect, and you can also order their sandwiches online, which you’ll get in their special branded boxes. I look forward to trying their pizza and burger(along with the creamy bruschetta) on my next visit.
